Seal Rock is an unincorporated coastal community in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States, between Newport and Waldport on U.S. Route 101. The community of Seal Rock is named for the Seal Rocks, a ledge of partially submerged rocks that parallel the shore for about 2.5 miles (4.0 km).

Seal rocks are geological formations with extremely low porosity and permeability overlying oil or gas reservoirs, which constitute a barrier against the volumetric flow of hydrocarbons into the upper layers.

Seal Rock Located south of Newport, Seal Rock State Wayside features large offshore rock formations that provide habitat for seals, sea lions, sea birds and other marine life. The beach includes interesting tidepools as well as excellent ocean views and a sandy beach.
